If you're reading on your phone, hold it in the landscape position to maintain the format of the poem.
They wanted me in Albuquerque; I said, "Say less"
A surefire way to kill this day's stress
I got a homie out there; I like the way she dress
Once the truck shuts down, she'll do the rest
First night, taking sight of the Christmas lights
I'm like, super calm; mind is taking flight
The more people I meet, the more I adore this city
Not to mention I got Albuquerque's finest with me
Fast forward to the morning; we're on a food run
Green stuff on my plate and she says, "Why the mood, hun?"
Looks different, but I tried, I liked, and the plate's done
That food just made this city a one of one
Taken aback by the views as we climb Sandia's Peak
I'm grateful for this visit; what a way to end the week
It's back to the grind as I say goodbye to the dime
She the same as her city; Albuquerque's so fine
