Poetry by Marckie-Rhyming Free Verse Poetry-Landscape Phone
If you're reading on your phone, hold it in the landscape position to maintain the format of the poem.
Ari and I headed to Edison as we boarded the JetBlue
Jet fuel whiff; as a result, the speed of our steps grew
During the final approach, baby girl had the best view
Kudos to the pilot; no complaints on how the jet flew

This township has an energy that I find spiritually natural
For that experience, I put these words up as collateral
The visit was for my daughter simply because I love her
Plus, there's a convention that's sure to generate wonder

Excitement was all around; positive vibes was a certainty
Maybe too much fun was had, but that was inadvertently
Millie Bobby Brown didn't show, but big up to Noah Schnapp
His presence eliminated the danger of a dead time gap

You see, a certain Netflix show acts as Ari's medicine
Her pure joy was evident during that day in Edison
Then a Stranger Thing happened that night around Eleven
I glanced at Ari sleeping and it was like Heaven
