New York City

If you're reading on your phone, hold it in the landscape position to maintain the format of the poem.
This is dedicated to the greatest city on Earth
NYC; south Bronx is where I was birthed
A New York minute passes by when you blink your eye
And the city stays awake; it couldn't sleep if it tried
Brooklyn's Bridge is a staple; try some Junior's cheesecake
Statue of Liberty feels at home; that's what she'd say
Why not visit the World Trade when you're in town?
Central Park's your next stop; hit the subway northbound
The Empire State Building was once King Kong's play space
In Times Square, people are out at the time of day break
Joe's Pizza is the spot; Queens is where the Mets stay
Staten Island gave us Wu Tang and Rucker's where talent plays
Natives of New York are the definition of "livestrong"
Visitors hit the radio and they're guaranteed a lit song
Opportunities are plentiful because the money moves here
Obstacles don't exist because we don't do fear
