"Nobody wants to be with you"; that was what you once said
Remembering your face when you said it and how your eyes read
Had me feeling ultimately that life would be more fun dead
This, on top of other words that you put into my head
Home alone processing difficult feelings I surely can't describe
Anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts; none would subside
An overdose of medication seems like the only thing to prescribe
Emotional pain has gone too far and has me ready to decide
I'm not experienced with this and don't know how to cope
You belittle and save face; I'm at the end of my rope
A hand full of pills seems like it would do the job
I spit them out my mouth because my life I couldn't rob
Never again would someone have that type of power over me
For a moment there, you had control; I admit, knowingly
Now I'm like a shark, swimming through life like Michael Phelps
Plus, I realized the problem may have been within yourself
