Synopsis: People from all over the country visit Daytona Beach for spring break. This writing describes the time one couple had during their visit.
Off the 95 into Daytona Beach her and I descend
I got the baddest one with me; no intentions to offend
Our energy is right and that's something I will defend
Observe how we move and you'll see we don't pretend
Homegirl parks the car as my right foot touches Daytona
When our eyes connected, I thought, "She's a Ryder like Winona"
Checked into our room where we'll soon be in a straight coma
Dropped our bags and left once she applied that aroma
On the beach, the sound of waves helps my emotions stay sane
Next thing you know, we're changing clothes; how quick night came
Seabreeze and A1A is the place where I'll spend my "flight" time
At 600 North, watching her dance puts me in the right mind
We exit through the back and hit the beach for a stroll
I'm steady tuning in as she's talking about her life goals
Back at the hotel, no need to explain what happened after
It's her arena, but I hung my jersey up in the rafters
