Synopsis: The fear of criticism and the setbacks it caused are written about in this poem. The salvation from overcoming it is also depicted.
If I fail, I'm afraid as to how I'll be perceived
Consistently believed embarrassment can never be conceived
A deadly relief to NOT try and somehow feel achieved
Deceived by the misbelief that social acceptance will Aleve

In some situations, I thought it'd be best not to endeavor
Never was there happiness; lack of self-esteem, altogether
However, words of wisdom had me seeking better weather
To view everyday as a treasure is the true measure

Elevation occurs when failure is seen as progress's catalyst
It's just my analysis as I'm morphing into a life analyst
The value in criticism upped as I halted being a protagonist
Failure's straight as long as I remain a part-time romanticist

Staying stagnant in life is something I'll never facilitate
Criticism fueled to excellence is an easy thought to assimilate
Besides, once I filter out the criticism that's filled with hate
There lies a trove of wisdom that I'll use to invigorate
