You're Not Alone

If you're reading on your phone, hold it in the landscape position to maintain the format of the poem.
Synopsis: If you think you're alone in your struggles, always remember that everyone around you is struggling with problems. It takes vulnerability and courage to discuss and embrace our issues.
Life's daily struggles can be too much for us to swallow
Problem after problem can make the day view hollow
No need to disconnect or let this unchecked mood infect
Redirect the defects and watch how this all intersects
Every person you encounter has fears; some compounded
Exchange yours with one and watch an increased number counted
That's when you'll be content with your problematic content
The next person's dying while you can't put money on the rent
Maybe you're not being treated right; your eyes begin to moisten
No need to scream when you're cheated out of poison
There's a lesson in the attitude of Robinson Crusoe
That was just a character in a writing by Daniel Defoe
We don't wake up this way; something we all must persist
Embrace the feeling, tighten your boots; it's a war, so enlist
The law of compensation is about the value we provide
That's how the universe decides if we're supplied or denied
