Pulse Still Beating

Synopsis: As one of the most devastating tragedies to hit the U.S., the Pulse massacre shocked the nation and the world. May the victims rest in power.
Pulse was the sight that night where people were all smiles
Celebrating life, as Orange Ave was full of style
These people had a right to party and still feel safe
But a weak excuse for a man had a problem with gays
With no pulse, that coward entered Pulse and started ending lives
OPD got the call and at once began sending guys
The same time bullets pierce bodies who drop like flies
It's a gruesome way for anyone to meet their demise
Some people went for cover within the bathroom stalls
As the hate kept slinging, bullets were penetrating walls
There were the lucky ones who escaped the scene of war
Hospital was up the street; now blood prints stain the E.R. doors
Orlando was hit hard that night, but the city remains standing
If anything, the Pulse tragedy gave it a stronger branding
The energy of the victims will carry on forever
Memories of their existence will for sure never sever
