In Another Life

Synopsis: Some people are just off limits to have a connection with, no matter the circumstances. However, one could only imagine how it could of turned out to be.
Eyes locked at IHop; corner of Semoran and Stonewall Jackson
Why not swap Jackson for Clemente?; I respect Orlando's action
Upon our intro, I knew there could never be an attainment
So, I was left deflated like Trump at his arraignment
The beauty you possessed, like that girl on TV from AT&T
I pictured us together and all; how may it be?
Expressions withheld because, how can I say it free?
Couldn't leave, so my only option was to stay and see
While around your circle, I couldn't break a rule that's cardinal
Even though I had much tucked up in my arsenal
Every minute around you, I thought, "How sweet is this?"
You were that hot, so I named you "feverish"
In another life, maybe; for now, I would stay vexed
And when that time comes, then I'll be next
Like Trotman, thoughts disentangle flowing through my fingertips
While thinking about connecting to those look-alike Shakira lips
