End World Hunger

If you're reading on your phone, hold it in the landscape position to maintain the format of the poem.
Synopsis: The world is full of technological advancements, innovation, and money. One can only wonder if hunger can truly be ended.
We wouldn't need a miracle; just cohesion by the political
I'm not talking about what happened with COVID; atypical
COVID swept the world and put the U.S. up to bat
Same time the country's wondering if it came from a bat
Necessities include the more powerful ready to devote
readily available resources for history to be rewrote
Malnutrition in the kids got this topic controversial
We needed to suit up yesterday; this isn't a dress rehearsal
Advancements made elsewhere; put that in parentheses
What if it were the children of those working in the embassies?
My only memories are of those with profit-seeking tendencies
Hence, can we make hunger one of the enemies?
Kids' growling stomachs got parents out there wired
Tired of the Red Queen's race; a new way is desired
Love to the ones out there working on this priority
And to the ones who feel me, this is the heart in WE
