Synopsis: While multiple religions have claimed to promote unity and embrace love, the big picture shows a little different. This poem is not meant to offend anyone. The issues are with the beliefs.
Every religion claims their beliefs are the truth
Carmen Sandiego; I'm a skeptic attacking this like a sleuth
Don't get me wrong, for I believe in a Higher Power
Tattoo on my arm reminds me of my approaching final hour

One religion told me to beware of false prophets
In turn, I exposed holes in the same organization's knowledge
Multiple times they predicted the world's end with dates distinct
We're still here; I'm sorry, but there must be a missed link

Some of these beliefs enforce the practice of shunning
Even on their own people; how can that be loving?
Detergent in the pulpit brainwashes to keep the money coming
Gavels get expensive for the judgmental who think they're cunning

But I get it; it boils down to one's faith
Just don't judge, because for me, that's a won case
Get your nose out the air; down here partnerships can be made
Don't you bleed red? Who gives you the right to degrade?
